TextilWirtschaft awards Nudie, Zalando, MFS and Breuninger
TextilWirtschaft, trade magazine for the German fashion and textile industry and sister publication of SPORTSWEAR INTERNATIONAL has once again awarded their annual “Forumspreise” to selected players in the industry.
The four winners are fabrics trade show Munich Fabric Start, online retailer Zalando from Berlin, Swedish denim brand Nudie and Stuttgart-based department store chain Breuninger.
They were given their prizes during a festive evening event in Heidelberg’s Print Media Academy on Wednesday night in presence of 600 invited guests.
This year’s panel of judges consisted of Susanne Asbrand-Eickhoff (Eikhoff), Mark Bezner (Olymp), Achim Gabor (Gabor Shoes), Stefan Herzog (Sportscheck), Thorsten Mindermann (H&M), Stefan Puriss, Mark Rauschen (Lengermann & Trieschmann), Klaus Schwitzke (Schwitzke & Partner), Dietmar Senft (Crämer & Co.), Holger Knapp and Klaus Kottmeier (both Deutscher Fachverlag) as well as Hagen Seidel and Michael Werner (both TextilWirtschaft).
The following reasons were given for their choice of winners:
Munich Fabric Start: Has developed from a small agency platform to an event with international importance due to permanent alterations and a high level of innovation.
Zalando: Has strongly contributed to making online shopping popular in Germany.
Nudie: Proves that cool, sustainably produced merchandise made of organic cotton can become cult.
Breuninger: Has defined a new form of fashion retail by uniting fashion, beauty, accessories and food under one roof in a very entertaining manner.
The winners (f. l.): Sebastian and father Wolfgang Klinder (MFS), Willy Oergel (Breuninger), Palle Stenberg (Nudie Jeans) and David Schneider (Zalando)
