SLIGHT GROWTH FOR PITTI’S TOUCH!, NEOZONE, CLOUDNINEThe womenswear shows Touch!, Neozone and Cloudnine, which were organized by Pitti Immagine at Milan's Zona Tortona and held between February 25 and 27, registered 9,000 guests this year with 180 brands on display. Out of those visitors, 7,150 were buyers, showing an increase of 2% compared with the 7,000 attendees in February 2011. Italians buyers made up 6,250 of the figure, with 900 foreigners from Japan (+15%), Russia (+50%), USA (+33%), UK (+47%), South Korea, China and the Netherlands. France and Germany remained stable while Spain and Greece decreased significantly. “Even a small increase is a positive sign these days,” commented Agostino Poletto, vice general manager of Pitti Immagine. “Our buyers already increased by 14% in February 2011. These results work towards our scouting activity, high-quality capsule collections and emerging brands and designers."
Top boutiques and department stores included: Al Fatina (Kuwait), Barneys, Harvey Nichols, Ships and Isetan (Japan), Brown Thomas (Ireland), Bugatti (Arab Emirates), Cashmere & Silk and Mercury (Russia), Daniels & Co. (Germany), Daslu (Brazil), Galeries Lafayette and Victoire (France), Gente, Sugar, Luisaviaroma, Tiziana Fausti Donna, Roma and Giglio (Italy), Tender and Peter Elliot (USA), The Swank Shop (Hong Kong) and Vakko (Turchia).
