PALLADIUM AND BILLIONAIRE BOYS CLUB LAUNCH JOINT CAPSULE COLLECTION

Design collaborations are a proud tradition of Palladium, now the boot brand has announced their latest partnership is with the premium streetwear label Billionaire Boys Club (BBC) around the style icon Pharrell Williams.

Presenting two models in an urban camouflage look, the strictly limited Boot Collection for Men will be available in Palladium’s online shop and in selected stores from November 1, 2012.

The collection consists of two classic Palladium models: Pampa Hi and Baggy. Their modern spotted camouflage-style reminds of the roots of French brand Palladium whose shoes have already been proven at the feet of the Foreign Legion. The progressive camouflage comes from the hand of the renowned Japanese designer, Sk8thing. Made of high quality suede, along with thick rubber soles and a cushioned foot-bed; the boots shall offer ultimate comfort. Other features include the BBC logo on the tongue and the Astronaut, Billionaire Boys Club’s mascot, on the foot-bed. The boot styles will retail at €109.95 - €129.95.

Barney Waters, Vice President of Marketing at Palladium, explained the background of the cooperation: "After working with Pharell [Williams] last year for our anthology film ‘Tokyo Rising’, which was a BBC production, it seemed like the logical decision to also do a product collaboration. The camouflage print that BBC has developed immediately catches the eye and is a perfect tribute to our beginnings, as we have equipped the army with durable shoes."
