Jörg Korfhage to distribute Italservices brands

Jörg Korfhage, former CEO of Sixty Germany, has closed a distribution and consultancy contact with Italservices.  As Managing Director of his own trade agency Colorful Trade GmbH, Korfhage will from now on be responsible for the Germany-wide distribution of all the brands owned by the Italian jeanswear specialist (Met, Met & Friends, Cycle, Heavy Project, JColor, Sartoria Tramarossa, Nolita and Ra.Re).

In October 2012, Korfhage was replaced as CEO Sixty Germany and since then operated as General Director Sales for the wholesale and retail segment. In December 2012, Sixty announced to stop their wholesale operations in Germany. (See our coverage on the topic here.)

In his new position, Jörg Korfhage aims at expanding all of Italservices' brands in Germany with a priority on the MET, MET & Friends and Ra.Re brands.
At the moment, Italservices runs two showrooms in Germany - one in Munich and one in Berlin. A third one shall be opened up in Düsseldorf soon.

Italservices will close the fiscal year 2012 with a 140 million Euro turnover (134 million Euro in 2011), out of which 45% are generated from exports. By the end of 2013 the company aims at achieving 50% of its sales from foreign markets, especially from Germany and France.
