Desigual registers 24% growth
Desigual closed the 2012 financial year registering a turnover of €701.4 million, 24% more when compared with its 2011 revenues of €566 million.
The company expects to grow by 15% to 20% by end of the current 2013 financial year. In 2012, the fashion house sold over 22 million items through its various retail channels around the world.
Throughout 2012, Desigual opened 72 stores in 2012, 53 of which are privately owned and 19 are franchises. The company has entered countries such as Russia and Japan, and reinforced its presence in markets in Latin America and the Middle East.
The company widened its e-commerce platform during 2012, in countries such as Poland, Portugal, Denmark, Finland, Ireland, Cyprus, Estonia and Malta, amongst others. The company now has a web presence in 18 countries.
