GQ Best New Menswear Designers in America Collection at Gap

Guys should get to Gap today.The retail chain is introducing its second exclusive menswear collection designed by the four Best New Menswear Designers in American for 2013, as previously selected by GQ magazine.

The quartet of participating brands includes Aviator Nation, a collection of vintage-look California casualwear by Paige Mycoskie; Baldwin, a classic denim line from Kansas City created by Matt Baldwin; Bespoken, a tailored line of rock-inspired menswear by brothers Liam and Sammy Fayed; and Ernest Alexander, a clothing and accessories line known for its heritage materials.

The 40-piece collection has a starting price point of $30 and includes hats, belts, tweed ties, backpacks, scarves, graphic tees, oxfords, chambray shirts, utility pants, fleece sweatpants, denim, blazers, vests, parkas, and waxed field jackets. It is sold at select Gap stores worldwide and at gap.com.

"We were very excited to collaborate with such a bright group of emerging designers," says Tony Kretten, Gap’s vice president of global menswear design. "Their unique points of view really complement Gap's casual American style, and we look forward to sharing this collection with our customers across the globe." GQ’s Best New Menswear Designers in America contest has been held annually since 2007.
