ZIMTSTERN GOES BIKINGThe Swiss snowboard and skateboard brand Zimtstern will premiere its first bike collection at the Sympatex Bike Festival in Riva del Garda, Italy from April 30 to May 2. Retailers, however, will get to see the collection for the first time at Eurobike in Friedrichshafen, Germany from September 1-4.
The collection will be functional but, like the whole Zimtstern line, with a lot of style. The collection consists of 47 technical pieces with jackets, jerseys and shorts for freeride/park, all mountain and enduro. Partners in the collection include the Italian fabric producer MITI, TMS for the padding, Eschler Softshell and Sympatex. The collection also will be supplemented with a variety of streetwear tops and bottoms. In accordance with the main collection and the Zimtstern philosophy, all the technical pieces will be certified with the bluesign standard, while recycled polyester and organic cotton will feature in the line. The collection enters the market for spring 2011.
