Wrangler: Collection news for s/s 2015

Tuesday night, denim brand Wrangler hosted an exclusive sales launch to a selected audience. More than 250 retailers, sales reps and key accounts of Wrangler were invited to have a closer look at the upcoming spring/summer 2015 collection and enjoy the Wrangler fashion show.

The event took place in Ronse/Belgium, in an old factory building. The settings and the very detail-loving decoration of the showrooms made very clear, where the inspiration for the summer collection came from. "Fishing and everything that evolves around this topic, this was our main inspiration source", says Davide Mateazzi, Senior Product Manager Wrangler.

Also, for the summer Wrangler sets a focus on its Denim Performance platform – jeans with fabric innovations like water-resistance and special details such as reinforced stitching. The launch of “keeps you cool plus”, which according to the brand provides antibacterial benefits, is also launched in three new washes.

With Bostin, Wrangler introduces a new fit for S/S 15. Bostin is a slim version of the standard Greensboro, appealing to a more contemporary and fashion-forward consumer. The fit is offered in Coolmax, Coolmax Plus, Water Resistant and Proud to Be Blue styles.

For the womenswear segment Wrangler announced that this fall/winter 14/15 delivery will be the last one for the Denim Spa collection. “Due to our consumer feedback, we came to the conclusion, that the Spa Denims didn’t perform as well as we have wished, so we decided to focus on classic items, like our shape keeper denims“, explains Marc Svojanovsky, Senior Director Sales - Wrangler Europe, Middle East and Africa.
