WHO'S NEXT TO OFFER STRONGER INTERNATIONAL FOCUS

Almost 15 years old, the Paris trade show Who’s Next is growing its identity with an increasingly show of international designers.

Known for its denim, sportswear, young fashion, footwear and new luxury offerings, the show takes over hall 1 of the Parc des Expositions at Porte de Versailles this season, right next to the accessories trade show, Premiere Classe.

A joint-entrance badge grants access to both trade shows and more than 1,100 fashion brands, including 450 brands devoted to accessories.

With over half the brands coming from abroad, the September edition, which runs Sept. 4-7, offers a unique focus on three countries: 12 Canadian designers will show in the “Creative” area, nine Japanese brands in the “Face” area and 12 Malaysian labels in the “Private” area of Who’s Next.

Other young designers may be spotted in the sections “Fresh” and “Fast.”
