VICTORINOX CONTINUES COLLABORATIONS WITH CHRISTOPHER RAEBURN
After a successful collaboration last fall, Victorinox and Christopher Raeburn have teamed up again. The UK designer will continue to consult with the brand’s internal design team on the main collection and produce fresh capsule collections, the first of which is Protect, which will be introduced at Pitti Uomo in Florence in January 2012. The line includes seven multi-functional pieces made from a unique mix of sustainable and recycled materials, the idea of which evolved from a 1970s vintage Swiss Army field jacket that Raeburn discovered. The collection ranges from an insulated parka bag to a water repellent blazer and pant, offering high-endurance materials for any weather or circumstance.
