VANS TO LAUNCH SEVERAL COLLABORATIONSCalifornian footwear brand Vans is launching several collaborations these days. In cooperation with Sanrio, famous for their Hello Kitty designs, they created slip-on sneakers that will be available in sizes for kids and adults. In addition, a high-top sneaker will be available for adults only. All shoes are decorated with Hello Kitty prints. For example, a black sneaker with a big Hello Kitty, or little prints allover the shoe.
The collection will be available starting in June in Vans stores worldwide as well as the online shop of the brand. In addition to that, selected Sanrio stores as well as the web shop will carry the sneaker. The kids’ styles retail at a price of €25; the unisex adults’ styles retail between €40 and 70.
Furthermore, the skate brand created four exclusive sneakers in collaboration with French label A.P.C. which is well-known for their clean and minimalistic design. “In a world of overdesigned shoes, these models arrange silence and dignity,” Jean Touitou, founder and designer of the French brand says. The ‘Authentic’ style is available in stack, true white and blue or true white and pink, whereas the ‘Chukka Booz’ style is only available in grey. They are available for €80 in selected A.P.C. stores around the world by now.

Skate brand Vans ‘off the wall’ was founded in 1966 by the Van Doren Rubber Company. The products stand for the south Californian way of life. After 40 years, the Vans range includes products of footwear, apparel, accessories and sportswear.
