Show Report Panorama: Happy and Successful

The Panorama fashion fair ended on Thursday evening registering a big success for exhibitors, visitors and the fair team. Approximately 30,000 visitors (an increase on the previous edition of about 10 - 15%) came to the show at ExpoCenter Airport. “We had a positive response, more traffic and everybody was in a good mood,” confirmed fair CEO Jörg Wichmann. According to many brands, the second day was especially successful. “We had more visitors on our booth,” said Otto Dörner of Gin Tonic.



General consensus according to the brands was that the fair was well organised, the booth decoration good, the speeches professional and that everything worked well. Barbara Hartmann, Künzli: “Berlin was great, we had a lot of new customers here and it was super being here, we will defiantly be back in January.” French label La Fée Maraboutée gained 35 new clients in two days. Mod Jeans, Timezone, H.I.S. and Camp David were also happy with the high quality of retail contacts.



But Panorama was not only big business; after a hard days work people also had a lot of fun! Noteworthy testimonials came from Heavyweight Champion Wladimir Klitschko, at the H.I.S. booth; fashion designer Harald Glööckler and his 9 bodyguards; and Papis Loveday presenting his new jeans collection. The Camp David Event was also amazing, welcoming over 2000 guests, and of course the great Panorama party at the end of the second day of the fair was a highlight of the week.



This edition of Panorama saw 390 brands displaying a mixture of mens and womenswear, shoes and accessories across the 20,000sqm floor space of the ExpoCenter Airport. For the next fair the capacity will be enlarged with a further hall and by 2015 Panorama will have six halls more space, explained fair speaker Ralf Strotmeier. The fair will continue to focus on powerful and relevant markets and mainstream fashion brands. For this round the fair management had to cancel some brands which didn’t fit the booth design and size concept. The limit of booth size is 150sqm, enough to present the brand profiles.



About 140 brands are on the waiting list, “We didn’t have enough space for all of them,” explained Jörg Wichmann. The new hall is dedicated to franchise and shop concepts with brands like s.Oliver, Comma and others. The new franchising hall will bring more international interest to the fair. Panorama will invite for the next time textile partners and retailers from China and Brazil and will also extend partnership with BRIC states.
