SPIRIT YOUNG FASHION RETURNS AT PURE LONDON

Spirit Young Fashion is taking place at Pure London from February 12-14 at Olympia London. The fair now returns with the hottest line-up of progressive and on-trend fashion brands from across the globe. Along with top labels, Spirit presents buyers with inspiring catwalks, essential seminars from industry leaders, celebrities and exciting features.

Superstar tattooist Kat Von D will be at the event debuting her latest collection, Kat Von D Los Angeles. Not to be missed, the LA Ink star’s latest collection features ultra sophisticated pieces inspired by various elements of nature and architecture with a modern romantic approach. Ultra feminine, fashion forward collections from the likes of Yumi, Ruby Rocks, Molly Bracken, Forever Unique, Glamorous, Sugarhill Boutique, A Postcard from Brighton, Glamorous and numph will also be presented.

Little Mistress’ new collection is made up of three trends, ‘Retro Charm’, ‘Gatsby Prom’ and ‘Tribal’.  Inspiration for the silhouettes is taken from key 20’s, 50’s and 60’s styling with a colour palette of soft pastel shades. Little Mistress have worked with dramality tv star Lauren Pope from ‘The Only Way is Essex’ to create a 16 piece capsule collection, this season’s lust-have range.

Pure London favourite, emilyandfin’s new collection recreates classic vintage styles alongside tailored dresses while Aryn K’s Autumn/Winter 2012 collection presents a rich combination of colour, texture and silhouette. Key items include cigarette pants, pencil skirts, oversized coats, biker jackets and skater skirts.

Other top brands not to be missed include Pepe Jeans London who will return to the show with styles influenced by the hipster hang-outs of East London, alongside Quiksilver, Desigual, Salsa, Khujo, Taboo and Iron Fist. Irregular Choice Clothing will offer a unique mix of winter warmers, glitzy casual wear and party dresses. British brand Kuccia’s new collection fuses tribal techno prints with a global ghetto twist. Coupled with a selection of body-cons, maxis and leggings, in a variety of easy-to-wear and figure-flattering shapes.

Launch at Spirit will showcase a selection of niche labels making their Pure London debut. Mrs Pomeranz, young & restless, Maya Rose, Mingili, Phylese, Sly and Emma Louise London will all preview their collections. Underwear brand, Playful Promises will be launching their first womenswear collection at the show. This desirable capsule range of chiffon blouses, silk shirts, pencil skirts and kimono jackets will sit alongside their  main lingerie collection. FAIR+true will also be exhibiting in the section. The UK-based brand offers affordable, fashion-forward, trend-led, ethical designs. Created and designed in London, the collection is made in Africa, Nepal and Vietnam from sustainable fabrics. With a focus on unique prints, many are limited edition short runs giving buyers exclusivity and a point of difference to add to their stores. Other brands showcasing in Launch at Spirit include Zoe La Fee, Flag-rags, Love Cole by Samantha Cole, Etrala, The Cross Culture Project, Abandon Ship Apparel, Pogostick Failure, Kendella, Cocoabella, Jodie Lee, Pop Boutique, Dhaga & I, Saba Khan, Kiley Evans, Glamour Bunny, Queenie and Ted and Charles of London.
