LAS VEGAS SHOW IMPRESSIONS
Several strong style trends were on view at the major trade shows in Las Vegas last week. New spins on traditional men’s outerwear were big news at Project and MRket while printed and colored jeans dominated the women’s denim lines on view at ENK Vegas and Project. These included Paige’s collaborative capsule collection with the famous London print house Liberty.

At the Capsule show, meanwhile, offerings included the charming “geek chic” of Gilbert & Lewis (the line takes its name from the two main characters in the movie Revenge of The Nerds), impressive chunky knits from just-launched LA-based women’s line Belle & Matisse and baseball caps from Baldwin Denim that reference the fact that this very American brand is based in Kansas City.
