SCOTCH & SODA LAUNCHES GIRLS COLLECTIONWith the slogan “Bonjour, je m’appelle Mademoiselle R’Belle“, Dutch brand Scotch & Soda presents its first clothing line for girls, named ‘Scotch R’Belle’.
After presenting the boys collection Scotch Shrunk in 2008 and launching the women’s collection Maison Scotch last year, Scotch & Soda gives the market another push with the first girl’s line Scotch R’Belle.
Like her adult sister, Mademoiselle R’Belle shows off delicate and cool at the same time. Influences from all around the globe and a strong detailing are the characteristics of the garments for girls who have a sense for fashion.
The summer collection 2011 is divided into four sub-lines – all in an affordable price range just like the boy’s line, Scotch Shrunk. ‘Rock Star Diaries’ offers floral-printed jumpsuits, acid colors, surf details and oversized boyfriend fits inspired by a Californian festival vibe. ‘Sharks & Minnows’ shows anchors, palm trees, pirate ships and hula girls in beach-bleached tones and coastal colours with a strong indigo influence. ‘How to be an explorer’ is a safari-based theme which brings jungle styles into the city, mixing up bright pop colors with ethnic designs, and focuses on detailing and accessories. And, last but not least, ‘The Valentine Journals’ presents ankle-length dresses, headbands and other romantic looks for summer evenings.
Scotch R’Belle will be sold in selected stores around the world starting in January of 2011.
