RICHARD CHAI TEAMS UP WITH ORIGINAL PENGUIN

New York-based designer Richard Chai has created a limited-edition range for the classic American brand, Original Penguin. The true-American collection, “Richard Chai for Original Penguin”, will make its first appearance during the upcoming edition of New York Fashion Week (Sept. 9-16) , serving up classics such as cotton knits and cardigans that combine Chai’s slick but witty signature with Original Penguin’s recognizable silhouette. The initial offering, which encompasses a tight number of six to eight pieces, will serve as a teaser only, as a more extensive collection is set to hit the market for f/w 2011. The s/s 2011 range will arrive at stores in February of next year with retail prices starting at $95.
