Onitsuka Tiger X Reality Studio
31 Jan. 2011
ONITSUKA TIGER X REALITY STUDIOJapanese sneaker brand Onitsuka Tiger and Berlin-based fashion label Reality Studio have joined forces to create a new and exciting footwear design, the FABRE LIGHT RS. A mix between a trainer and a leather shoe, the hi-top design sneaker has a casual, androgynous style. The designer behind Reality Studio, Svenja Specht, put a lot of effort into the detailing. Thus, the shoe features unique fringing, laser-cut stripes, and a small golden rivet engraved with the words Reality Studio. Specht got inspired by North American Indians, their lives, art and culture, as well as Princess Mononoke, a character from a 1997 Japanese animated fantasy film by manga artist Hayao Miyazaki.
The FABRE LIGHT RS is available in the two color combinations grey/nude and nude/red. The model hit stores on Jan. 29 for a recommended retail price of €150.
