NEW DENIM BRAND KORAL LOS ANGELES LAUNCHES INTERNATIONALKoral Los Angeles, the new denim brand created by the two 7 for all Mankind co-founders Rick Crane and Peter Koral and the latter's son David, is now available across the United States and in international boutiques with 52 different denim styles for women. Defined by its deep and iconic denim roots, Koral’s style essence is made up of simple refinement mixed with sexy, real style.
The collection features an array of premium denim fabrics, many of which are exclusive to the brand. The design team around art director Marc Atlan has worked with several renowned laundries to create a hand processing technique giving each pair of jeans a unique, 3D-like artisan effect. Eight progressively altered washes that range form zero months (pure, raw denim) to 36 months (processed to reflect the natural wear on a pair of denim after three years), as well as a range of bright colored, tinted or coated denim and a graphic colorblock line can be found within the debut collection.
Koral’s denim stlyles will retail for $160-240, with a holiday collection scheduled to hit stores in November. A men’s line is currently underway and planned to be released for spring 2013.
Prior to his work for Koral, Marc Atlan Atlan has also worked for Comme des Garçons, Helmut Lang, Tom Ford, and Maison Martin Margiela, where he honed his attention to detail and sleek aesthetic.
