Modefabriek Amsterdam announces news for January '14

For its 36th edition that will run January, 26 - 27, 2014 in the RAI in Amsterdam, Modefabriek announces several news.

For the upcoming edition, the fair will present its selection of more than 600 labels in four brand-new segments: The Pavilion, The Frame, The Floor and The Square, which contains the new platforms Salon and Stage. The Blueprint, Mint, Chapter and Next platforms have been further fine-tuned. Last edition's exhibitors include Samsoe&Samsoe, Modstrom, Goosecraft, Denham, Aspesi, Manuel Ritz, Hackett London, Fugato, Windsor, Ted Baker, Van Gils, Kenzo Men, Moshino, Woolrich, Wood Wood, Holst + Lee, American Vintage, Canada Goose, Current Elliot, Fab., Koral Los Angeles, Tigha, Mexx, Paola Frani, Humanoid, Tara Jamon, IKKS, Eleven Paris, Fred Perry, TOMS, Nudie Jeans, Kuyichi, Lee, Bellerose, Big John, WeSC, Sin Star, , Pall Mall, Twin-set, Spijkers & Spijkers, Halé Bob, No Excess, Petrol, G-Star, Mads Norgaard, Citizens of Humanity to name only few.

The Next platform, for instance, spotlights eight new international ‘young designer labels’. In past seasons, Next presented such catchy names as Augustin Teboul (DE), Alexandra Kiesel (DE), Filles a papa (BE), Claes Iversen (NL), Sjaak Hullekes (NL), Hope (SE), Barbara I Gongini (DK) and Glenn Martens (BE).

Craftsmanship and innovation will be presented at The Blueprint and Chapter platforms and they also play an important role in sustainability, as shown by the platform Mint.

Additional, there is always something for sale at Modefabriek, such as in the HTNK shop in Blueprint or the second-hand designer boutique Salon Heleen Hullsman.

One highlight of the upcoming edition is the inspiring exhibition ‘Home of the future’, in which Modefabriek and Studio by Judith ter Haar explore the retail landscape of the future.
