Liebeskind Berlin designs charity bagAccessories label Liebeskind Berlin has released a charity bag designed in cooperation with Wimmy Hu, founder of the Red Sun Foundation and owner of the Red Sun Restaurants in Amsterdam, Blaricum and Marrakesh. The Wimmy Bag, which is set to hit stores in time for Christmas, is made of pull up leather and will be available in scotch, black and cherry hues with a red python streak as its signature feature.
The bag will retail for €259,90, €40 of which will be donated to the Dutch charity Stop Kindermisbruik. The organization fights for girls who have fallen into prostitution in the Netherlands, India, China and Cambodia and aims to lead them back to a normal life. Wimmy Hu has served as an ambassador for the organization since 2009 and supports the cause with her Red Sun Foundation, which carries out biannual charity auctions in her restaurants.
