LEVI’S HOSTS FIRST EUROPEAN PRINT WORKSHOP IN BERLINUntil August 18, Levi’s is hosting the first European Levi’s® Print Workshop in Berlin which opened its doors during Bread & Butter in Berlin beginning of July. The workshop is a community-based screen-printing space designed to facilitate creative production and collaboration. Located in Berlin Mitte, and housed in a temporary venue in the city’s former mint ‘Alte Münze’ (Am Krögel/Neue Jüdenstrasse), the Levi’s® Print Workshop celebrates craftsmanship and the city’s vibrant creative community.

The Levi’s® Print Workshop is open to the public Wednesdays trough Fridays from 12am-10pm and on Saturdays and Sundays from 11am-9pm and offers screen-printing instruction and supplies for everybody in small groups free of any charge. In addition, there are several events and exhibitions which try to impart knowledge about screen-printing. For more information, go to www.levi.com/printworkshop.
The Levi’s® Workshops series was launched in spring of 2010 in San Francisco in conjunction with the brand’s “Ready to Work” Go Forth campaign and continued on to New York and Los Angeles. Levi’s® Workshops are designed to inspire communities across the globe to engage in creative collaboration for the common good.
