GEOX LAUNCHES DENIM LINESpecialised footwear company Geox has launched BluGeox, a contemporary jeans line for men and women at Milan Fashion Week. For the occasion, Geox teamed up with Turkey-based Isko, one of the world’s largest denim and research-minded producers. Distinguishing marks of the new BluGeox collection are fabrics and fibers such as Isko Pop Fabrics, characterized by supple and easy care cottons with a worn out feeling that are comfortable yet body-sculpting as well as a Lycra T400 fiber that provides a greater and longer lasting stretch, boasting a softer and smoother hand compared to the textured stretch yarns on the market.
The line offers 5-pocket-style jeans in different fits, dyes and washes. Fits include slim, regular (men and women), bootleg (women) and tapered (men), available in normal rinses, vintage washes and numerous super-stoned or dirty washes in colors like sky and ink blue, shimmering greys and deep blacks. Printed waistbands, colored stitched selvedge and innovative, soft sliding, eco-friendly zips are also distinctive marks of the new collection. Originally invented and patented for military apparel, this zip offers exceptional performance even under extreme conditions. Tested in the desert heat and sandstorms of the Sahara, as well as the extreme cold of polar expeditions, it is always completely reliable.
BluGeox will be carried in all Geox Shops and other selected sales of points.
