GALLERY ADDS BRANDS, EXHIBITOR SPACECopenhagen’s Gallery International Fashion Fair is expanding its showcase to include 300 new luxury brands for its upcoming February show.
Among them are 40 new design-driven brands including See by Chloe, Anna Sui, Anglomania, McQ, Stella Nova, Annhagen, Marco Polo, Diane von Furstenberg, Coming Soon, Patricia Pepe and True Religion.
To accommodate the brands, organizers have confirmed the addition of 400 sq. meters of exhibition space so the show will now cover a surface area of 5,400 sq. meters. In addition, six catwalk shows by Ivana Helsinki, Ivan Grundahl, Marimekko, Cheap Monday, Barbara i Gongini and Stine Goya are scheduled to take place in two tents totalling 800 sq. meters. A smaller tent is expected to host sundry activities including presentations of new collections, film screenings, a magazine brunch and fashion party.
The fashion showcase, meanwhile, will continue to promote an environmentally-friendly atmosphere.
Gregersen Communication and CIFF are behind Gallery, which once again will offer shuttle buses between Bella Center and the Forum, joint admission to CIFF and airport transportation.
Gallery attracted approximately 12,000 visitors and 1,000 journalists to its last show in August 2008.
