Fred Perry announces collaboration with No Doubt
Fred Perry has announced a new collaboration with southern Californian band, No Doubt. Renowned for their fusion of Ska, Punk and Reggae, the project has been inspired by decades of shared influence and heritage.
The band have worked alongside the Fred Perry design team to create a collection of classic Fred Perry styles, referencing their ska and reggae roots and celebrating Fred Perry’s unique relationship with subculture.
"Fred Perry is a classic inspiration that has been part of our style since the beginning. Collaborating with Fred Perry is a perfect fit for us", commented singer Gwen Stefani.
The slim fit shirt, available for both men and women, features the band's signature tipping detail to the sleeves and collar in a reggae inspired dark gold, red and green. The two button, all black style is finished with a white Laurel Wreath embroidery on the chest, giving a subtle nod to the monochrome ska palette.
The limited edition Fred Perry shirt, available for both men and women, will be released first early January. The punk inspired tartan check V neck sweater and 1950s style bomber will be available early next year as well. The collection will be available on fredperry.us first with a planned global release in Spring 2013 and is now open for pre-registration.
