ETHICAL FASHION SHOW BERLIN REGISTRATION ENDS

The Ethical Fashion Show Berlin will take place for the second time from July 4-6 during the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Berlin. After its debut in January with 36 exhibiting labels from around the world, the next green fashion trade event will again be housed at the ewerk location. International brands will present their collections for spring/summer 2013 and show how urban lifestyle and confident style matches ecological demands and high ethical standards.

Berlin as a center for green fashion
While the already established Greenshowroom event at the Adlon Hotel in Berlin looks at sustainable high-end fashion, The Ethical Fashion Show finds its niche with ‘green’ streetwear and casualwear. Both events strengthen Berlin as the German hotspot for green and fair fashion, allowing for a broad assortment of eco-friendly style.

“The concept of The Ethical Fashion Show Berlin is well entrenched in the eco-fashion industry and has a strong growth potential. Both visitors and manufacturers show great interest in environmentally-friendly fashion. With Greenshowroom and The Ethical Fashion Show, Berlin is now at the center of this movement,” explains Olaf Schmidt, Vice President of Textiles & Textile Technologies with organizer Messe Frankfurt. “The premiere sold out and we are very happy about the high demand for the second edition.”

Labels active in the field of ethical fashion wanting to participate may still sign-up until May 14.
