CANTERBURY OF NEW ZEALAND TO LAUNCH FASHION LINE IN U.K.

Canterbury of New Zealand, the makers of rugby gear and official supplier to the All Blacks New Zealand rugby team, is venturing into fashion. For F/W 10, the brand has launched a capsule collection, unlike its previous collections, based around its Kiwi heritage and rugby signature. Deep purples and washed vintage reds prevail in the collection; in terms of styles, highlights include classic numbers such as a down-filled nylon gilet with a checked cotton lining and a zip-front cotton hoody with kangaroo pockets. The collection will be distributed in the UK exclusively, with plans to sell the S/S 11 offering in Europe, Middle East, New Zealand, South Africa and Australia.
