BURTON RELEASES SPRING/SUMMER 2012 COLLECTION

Burton, Vermont’s snowboarding apparel brand founded in 1977 by Jake Burton Carpenter, has launched its spring/summer 2012 collection, now available online and in select stores. The warm weather pieces include tees, tanks, technical apparel, accessories and transitional outerwear pieces like super lightweight jackets made with Burton’s renowned weather-proofing technology. The jackets feature a 2.5-layer ultra-light DRYRIDE Durashell™AirTech® fabric and are available for men, women and children. Other specially designed fabrics such as DRYRIDE Ultrawick™ stretch jersey are also used in further items for the line, including a variety of tops and bottoms. An array of bags completes the collection, featuring a B.Y.O bag that doubles as a cooler.

On April 2 the brand will launch “Burton Camp Out,” an online contest that gives participants the chance to win product packages and a trip to the FM4 Frequency Festival with five friends. For more information, check out www.burtoncampout.com.
