Armani to open museum in Milan
Giorgio Armani is expected to open a museum dedicated to his own creations, ideas and inspiration at the same time when the Expo 2015 will be taking place in Milan.
The new collective work of the designer will be carried ahead in close collaboration with the City of Milan and will be based in the area of Via Bergognone – where Armani’s head offices are located - open to the city.
The designer explained his project to be conceived as a silo, a container of ideas and projects that uses his own collections as a point of departure, in offering a journey through the history of his fashion, costumes and personal vision of the creative profession.
Aim of the initiative is to be opening up a world of experience and unique skills to new generations while encouraging research and fueling creativity. The fusion of the many expressions and mediums, in particular with his design, will enliven the space.
