ART SHOESTORMING ANNOUNCES CREATIVE COMPETITION WINNERShoe label Art Shoestorming’s creative competition has established itself as a renowned newcomer award for young Spanish students with graduating classes from two schools demonstrating their skills in handmade, recycled and flexible styles inspired by sustainability. This year's winner Alberto Ruano Bermídez won €2,000 for his original wood sculpture and now represents Art’s marketing campaign for spring/summer 2013.
The jury consisted of a Shoestorming senior representative, a member of Art’s creative team and the creative head and owner of agency ruiz + company David Ruiz. Second and third place went to Bragança Celia and Abigail Rodriguez, who were both awarded €1,000 for their recycled and handmade goods. The ceremony took place as part of the Art Presentation in Madrid this past June.
