ACNE LAUNCHES KIDSWEAR COLLECTION WITH TUSS

Swedish jeans specialist Acne cooperates with Swedish kidswear label Tuss for a small collection for winter 2011/12. Jonny Johansson, Creative Director and Founder of Acne, is a personal fan of the Tuss kids’ collection and is a regular customer in their shop in Stockholm. Due to this private bias, the idea of a collaboration was born. Tuss Designer, Catti Aman, now designed comfortable and easy-to-wear styles with the typical cool attitude that reflects the character of both labels. The collection offers apparel for both boys and girls in the ages between 2 and 10. Retail prices range between €35 for t-shirts and €90 for jeans.

Tuss, a minimalistic label for childrenswear, was founded in 2004 by Catti Aman in Stockholm. The characteristics are a minimalistic look, no visible logos and details playing with imperfection like raw hemlines and deconstructed edges. The color range is quite limited and contains beige, grey, dark navy, and black. The clothes are made out of Italian cotton and are produced in Portugal and Turkey. Tuss offers clothes for kids aged between 0 and 12 years. The collection is sold in over 20 countries, for example France, Belgium, Italy, Spain, and the United States.
