5 ELEMENTS.BERLIN TO SHAPE BODYWEAR IN GERMANYA new fair concept will be launched in Germany this summer. 5 elements.berlin , a trade show for the intimates, beach and spa segment will debut this July in Berlin. The new platform is based on the concept of creating a new home for European bodywear and related lifestyle products.
The organizer Ocean Media Group in London is well known in the fair business and aims to present a wide brand portfolio. Olaf van den Brink, spokesperson for 5 elements.berlin, explains: “The bodywear business needs a European platform which offers much more than a venue for just writing orders. While developing the new fair concept we were inspired by concept store offerings.” To this end, 5 elements.berlin also includes segments such as cosmetics, accessories, wellness, travelling and yoga in addition to bodywear.
For now the show could have up to 150 exhibitors. Several exhibitors have already confirmed their participation, among them Speedo, Calvin Klein Underwear, Joop! Bodywear, Eva B. Bitzer, I.D. Sarrieri, Sellmark, BIP-BIP and Sunseeker Australia.
Accordingly, the fair will be divided into different sections, “lingerie + nightwear,” “beach wear + beach sports” and “spa + relax,” offering wellness, yoga, health and other lifestyle products.
The new fair concept will also offer international trends in a newcomers section. 5 elements-stream will show trends, collections, catwalk clips and scouts on the street on a big screen within the relaxation lounges.
To create an atmosphere suited to lingerie, 5 elements.berlin will offer a special stand system, which is about 1.60 meters high. The first concept was supposed to be launched in Cologne but organizers decided to move the launch to Berlin. Consequently, Ocean Media Group is hoping to create synergy with fairs such as Bread & butter, Premium and Berlin Fashion Week. So far the exact date and location of the show has not been confirmed. Different venues are currently being discussed. Concerning the date, organizers are waiting for the heads of Bread & butter and Premium to confirm their dates.
