The menswear shows in Paris demonstrated how sartorial fashion is nurturing from sportswear and technic-outerwear influences to shape the new prototype of a gentleman. Dior presented men in tie but wearing black leather tracksuit pants and sneakers. Louis Vuitton introduced turned-up suit pants with duffle coats and hiking-inspired wasp-waisted jackets. Also Acne Studios bets on slim-fit suit pants combined with thick-soled trainers and polar-lining zipped cardigans or suit jacket combined with sport tights and long-line sweaters. Henrik Vibskov caters for boldness with the use of wide silhouettes, both in upper-parts and bottoms, and also shin-length skirts.
