Capsule kicks of the season with strengthened retail team
To prepare for the summer show season, which Capsule just kicked off with its Paris edition (June 27-29), the trade show has recently appointed a new retail relations team and also added executives to its sales and marketing departments.
New hires for retail relations include Barbara Torasso, formerly global marketing communications manager lifestyle and basketball for Reebok, who will manage women’s relationships, and Kashia Wolf, formerly international retail manager for Theory, who will manage the men’s side of the business.
Torasso and Wolf are in charge of expanding Capsule’s audience of retailers worldwide and ensuring to meet the needs of the show’s current list of retailers through the year and onsite.
Moreover, Lillian Kye has joined Capsule’s sales team to recruit new fashion brands for the show. Her past experiences include account executive for both Steven Alan Showroom and Peregrine Showroom.
Cristian Robalino and Nando Casinelli from Reed Exhibitions (the event’s organizer who took over Capsule in December 2013) have joined Capsule’s marketing team and Andrea Gorrie serves as new client services manager, with a sole focus on providing a positive experience for exhibiting brands.
“We are really excited to be able to offer an additional layer of resources to both our vendor and retailer community. We’re confident that this will bring the entire Capsule experience to the next level”, says show co-founder Deirdre Maloney.
Capsule’s next stop will be Berlin’s Postbahnhof from July 8-9.
