Tiger of Sweden reinforce marketing and distribution
Swedish fashion label Tiger of Sweden is planning to expand internationally. Two sales agencies have been engaged to help grow the company’s business in the US and French markets. Agency Empire and Branch will be responsible for distribution in the US and The Hanger has taken over distribution responsibility in France.
CEO David Thunmarker explains: “During the last two years we had a fantastic success at Selfridges in UK. In 2013 we opened flagship stores in London, Toronto, Cape Town and Stockholm.” Both new agencies will spearhead brand growth through the label’s own retail shops and wholesale operations over the next two years in New York and Paris. For fiscal year 2013, Tiger of Sweden announced sales revenue of about €100 million (a year-on-year increase of 22%).
