The Ledge trade show cancelled

Sports and streetwear trade show The Ledge has cancelled its upcoming January edition. The decision was made “As a result of conflicting dates with production deadlines and clashes with similar events and locations which has made it impossible to find a satisfactory date for a UK show,” as a statement by The Ledge put it.

Director of The Ledge, Kelin Phillipson, said: "The decision to suspend The Ledge has been an extremely difficult one and has been taken with a heavy heart. With tighter and constantly shifting sales, show and showroom deadlines spread throughout an increasingly small sales window of opportunity, for the time being there are no acceptable dates on which to confidently deliver a successful Ledge and provide the industry with the show it deserves."

Over the past two years, The Ledge has offered a platform for over 200 action sports and streetwear brands at Olympia Exhibition Centre in central London. The trade show team will continue to configure details with the aim of providing a “Legitimate show again in the near future”.

The Ledge has been co-located with punk/rockabilly fashion trade show London Edge, which will be continue its 14-year track record with the February show running 2nd-4th at London Olympia.
