Another womanswear tradeshow for New York: Edit

BJFG to launch Edit trade showBusiness Journals Fashion Group, which produces such trade shows as MRket and Accessories The Show, has announced that it will launch Edit, an invitation-only showcase of approximately 100 premium womenswear brands, at the Javits Convention Center’s Hall 1A in February 2014. “Edit’s services will include concierge assistance, look books and an impeccably staged show floor, rich with amenities–catering to contemporary and luxury retailers placing high value on service, trend resources and fresh perspectives,” says BJFG in a written statement.
The event will be helmed by show director Alexandra d’Archangelo and branding/merchandising manager Jennifer Park, who met at Canada’s leading fashion school, Ryerson University, and who have since served as fashion show producers, trade show organizers, marketers, merchandisers and retailers in Canada, the US and France. Edit’s tagline is “Wear the Future.”
