Panorama Berlin 2-4 July 2013

Show Preview: Panorama BerlinThe Panorama trade show is primed for a second round. About 390 labels, 40 more than last January, have signed up to exhibit at the ExpoCenter Airport from July 1 to 4. “Expectations are high. We’ve improved our concept and are striving to make a visit to the fair as easy and efficient as possible. We want to offer suspense and to inspire at our event,” says Panorama managing director Jörg Wichmann. This means the exhibition hall concept was revised. The basic idea of the Panorama, which is spread out across three buildings with 20,000 square meters (215,280 square feet) of floor space, is a mix-and-match medley of women’s and men’s collections as well as accessories and shoes. Entrance Hall B will still boast “Best of Segment” selections. Hall C will continue to feature “Casual” collections. And Hall A has been revamped and focuses on the theme of “Modern young woman.”
New exhibitors include La Fée Maraboutée, Fynch Hatton, Carl Gross, and Digel, but also entirely new collections such as Colours & Sons and Sartoria marking their first time as exhibitors at Panorama Berlin. S. Oliver Casual has canceled for this summer, but the trade fair itself has also parted ways with several collections. To gain more exhibition space, the catering space was reduced in size and new passageways created between the halls. This ensures the best utilization of the space available. In addition, signage for visitors has been improved.
In collaboration with exhibitors, Panorama has enhanced its brand communication, and the shuttle service between the trade fair site and Berlin Fashion Week has also been extended. The “Berlin Street Market” outdoor area with various lounges, catering areas, and different brand presentations is new for this summer. There is also a Meet & Greet Cocktail each evening.
