Order place CPD DüsseldorfAfter the great kick off in Berlin, from February 2 to 5 Düsseldorf was the order place for the 2013/14 Autumn/Winter season. The fairs Gallery, Premium, Supreme, Date and the order activities in more than 1000 showrooms and the Fashion Houses in the city are organized under the roof CPD. Held once again in a fully booked venue with extended exhibition space The Gallery closed on 4 February 2013. About 230 collections from 15 countries presented trends for Autumn/Winter across 5,000 square meters. For the second time now this trade fair format staged at the centrally located Botschaft embassy on Cecilienallee in Düsseldorf provided a communicative meeting point for the industry. The new platform for individual contemporary fashion, designer wear and accessories has become an established event for the sector. Philipp Kronen, Managing Partner of Igedo Company, said: “We had a strong and successful trade fair. Our attendance expectations have been exceeded and we succeeded in welcoming all the important customers. As good as half the buyers came from abroad this time. Many buyers came from Russia and Eastern Europe, and also from Italy, France and the Netherlands. Our trade fair is an attractive order platform.” From 19 to 22 July the Gallery will run for the third time.
Even Anita Tillmann und Norbert Tillmann from the Premium Exhibitions registered more visitors and were very happy. The Munich fashion.Company had with the Supreme order fair the first cooperation under the name Homebase, powered by Supreme, with the fashion agency ACO. Highlight was a party with about 550 guests with shows from Just Cavalli, Frankie Morello and Iceberg on Saturday night. “We are very happy. Supreme was again successful. The atmosphere is relaxed, and exhibitors and visitors are using the platform for communication and networking” explained Alina Schade from Supreme. Fazit of Düsseldorf: Here is Business. Buyers are looking for new collections and concepts. The accessory fair date in the Fashion House was also successful and will have more space for the next time.
