After opening an outlet store in Madrid last July , Volcom has unveiled a new retail store in Barcelona.

The store covers 140 square meters and offers all of Volcom's collections for men, women and children as well as a range of technical snowboard clothing for the winter season. The location also features a selection of accessories and footwear by related brands such as Electric, which specialises in eyewear and also belongs to the PPR group.

Volcom's expansion is continuing in Europe with with the planned opening of two new stores in France in October 2012. With five store opening in 2012, the Volcom brand will have 12 stores in Europe by the end of this year.

Volcom is PPR owned brand. Present in over 120 countries, PPR achieved a turnover of 12.2 billion euros in 2011 and employed almost 47,000 staff as of the end of that year. PPR shares are listed on Euronext in Paris (FE0000121485, PRTP.PA, PPFP).
