Tom Tailor Holding anounces growing in salesTom Tailor announces today figures for the third quarter of 2012. For the first time, its August and September figures included the performance of the Bonita Group, that was acquired completely in August 2012. On this basis, Tom Tailor Holding AG achieved like-for-like growth of 3.9% in the third quarter with its two umbrella brands.
The retail stores of the Tom Tailor brand (including e-commerce) increased their sales by 28.5% in the quarter under review, or by 16.2% on a like-for-like basis. This was therefore the fifteenth consecutive quarter in which sales were up. The performance of the e-shop was especially pleasing, as it achieved a sales increase of around 60%.
As anticipated, the Bonita brand’s like-for-like sales were down by around 3% year on year in both August and September. “We know that it will take time for Bonita to get back on track for like-for-like growth. In the months ahead, we will endeavour to create sustainable conditions for this to happen,” explained Dieter Holzer.
