TOMMY HILFIGER WITH NEW CHIEF MARKETING OFFICER
New York-based Tommy Hilfiger Group announced that Avery Baker is to become Chief Marketing Officer with immediate effect. Baker has been working for the company for 15 years and most previously held the position as Executive Vice President of Global Communications and Marketing. In her new position, Avery Baker will continue to report to CEO of Tommy Hilfiger Group, Fred Gehring.After different stops in the USA and Europe, Baker has played a key role regarding the repositioning of the brand in America and at the same time shaped the brand image all over the world. In her new position, Baker will continue to oversee global marketing and communication initiatives and moreover will be responsible for brand-specific operations for the Tommy Hilfiger Group at the headquarters in New York and Amsterdam. The divisions marketing, communication and creation will continue to report directly to Baker in the future.
