relaxing at Bright location Alte Münze

Show Report Bright: Established on new groundsIn the second season of showing in the new location at Alte Münze in Berlin Mitte, skate and streetwear tradeshow Bright has successfully established its new design and concept.
The show was divided between the “Passarelle” section on the left, which hosted more skatewear and hardware oriented brands and the “Produktionsgebäude” section on the right, which was home to all the streetwear clothing brands. Both visitors and exhibitors were very satisfied with the segmentation as it enabled people to easily orient themselves within the show. The positions of the most major exhibitors such as Iriedaily, Element, Puma or Wemoto stayed the same as in the January edition. Denise Graff, Iriedaily: “We are very happy with our positioning and the environment of brands here. It’s light and visible and we have already registered a good frequency of both international and national visitors.” Bright continues until Friday, 5th July and is the Berlin-based trade show to do so.
The 500sqm entrance area, which was used for catering during the winter edition, now houses a selection of upcoming brands such as Apollo-Krieg, Muschi Kreuzberg, Looky-Looky or quick starter Cayler & Sons, a largely successful baseball cap brand from Munich that was founded just a year ago and now has its first appearance at a trade show. Chris Boszcyk, one of the founders of the brand: “The trade show has been a smash hit for us so far! We really invested in the fitting of our booth which looks great! Our booth has been packed most of the time.”
The general atmosphere was the trade show’s signature relaxed and happy vibe. The good weather makes the inner courtyard the perfect spot to chill out, meet friends and business partners and watch stylish visitors and skate tricks.
Trend-wise, patterns and prints dominated the collections. From wild and colourful all over prints with no creative limits (think of religious inspirations, animals or fruit motifs) which covered the t-shirts and sweaters at Hype, to more minimal repeats at German Riviera, Wemoto or O’Neill. Everything is possible; tropical and summery themes such as ice cream, flamingos and palm trees are trendy and pastels and pinks have experienced a strong revival.
We wish everyone at Bright a successful and enjoyable last trade show day!
