STITCH MENSWEAR WITH NEW CREATIVE DIRECTIONStitch, the dedicated menswear and accessories event, reveals a totally new creative concept for its next edition taking place at Earls Court 2 in London August 7-9, 2011. The new concept is headed by Antony Wallis, the creative mastermind behind 40° and clothing label Trigger Happy, together with Stylorouge, the cross-media design consultancy responsible for campaigns for Blur, Ted Baker and the cult movie Trainspotting. The exciting new look and feel of the show talks directly to the stylish and individual man that would shop with the brands showing at Stitch.
From the huge success of last season, where Stitch attracted over 6,000 visitors from 52 countries, brands such as Weekend Offender, Original Penguin, Dickies, Lambretta, Nickelson, Duck & Cover and many more have resigned for the upcoming edition. Furthermore, the innovative floor plan at the new Earls Court 2 venue has been created to encourage more of a visitor experience.
For the past edition in February, London-based tradeshow players Stitch, Pure Spirit and Pure London, teamed up for the first time to run simultaneously. To make life easier for visitors, the young fashion candidates, Stitch and Pure Spirit, both relocated to Earl’s Court 1, a venue located less than a mile away from Kensington Olympia, the longstanding home of Pure London.
