SPREADSHIRTS FETES TEN YEARS

Spreadshirt celebrated its tenth anniversary on June 21 last week, which was also international T-shirt day. What started back in 2002, selling in four-digit figures, has steadily continued to grow and in 2011 distributed over two million products, registered over 40,000 sales and earned 4.4 million Euro. The company now delivers to over 70 countries whereupon customers can either personally design the shirts or choose from existing designs in partner shops or online. According to a survey, around 53 percent of customers are male with most orders coming from major cities like Berlin and Chicago.

The leading of the top three most sold is the “I love” motive. The top 100 queries only account four percent of the overall searched motives, showing the broad range of possibilities available at Spreadshirt.
