SOUTH KOREAN FASHION EXHIBITION IN LONDON

Set to coincide with London Fashion Week, an exhibition focusing on emerging South Korean designers opened in London this month.



Called “A New Space Around the Body”, the showcase is curated by Sofia Hedman and Ji Hye Hong. Intriguingly subversive, the carefully selected ensembles highlight the typical aspects of the Korean breed of designer, namely a sculptural silhouette and playful approach to color and texture.

The participating designers are Minky Jaemin Ha, Juhee Han, Ara Jo, Katleen Kye, Yoolhee Ko, Minju Kim, Yeashin Kim and Unbounded Awe by Laykuni. The exhibition runs until Feb. 28, and is housed within the Korean Cultural Centre UK. 1-3 Strand, London WC2N 5BW.
