Puma's new Global Creative Director: Torsten Hochstetter

Puma appoints Torsten Hochstetter as Global Creative DirectorSportswear company Puma has appointed Torsten Hochstetter, former Creative Director of Surfwear Company O’Neill, as Global Creative Director, effective July 15, 2013. Based in Herzogenaurach, Hochstetter will be responsible for designing, creating and developing the Sport Performance and Sport Lifestyle collections of the brand, touching on all product categories including footwear, apparel and accessories. Hochstetter will work hands-on with all respective Puma design teams worldwide.

German-native Hochstetter has occupied several positions in the international sports and fashion industry. Prior to his latest job as Creative Director at American brand O'Neill, he worked for Adidas in Germany, USA and Japan, holding positions such as Creative Director Sport Performance and Creative Director Sport Style. The 46-year-old started his professional career at German fashion company S.Oliver in 1993. Hochstetter has a fashion design degree from Ent-Art Polimoda in Florence and completed a tailoring apprenticeship. He is fluent in English, Italian, Dutch and Japanese.
