Philipp Plein Opens Flagship in RussiaPhilipp Plein continues its retail expansion. Recently the brand has opened its very first store in St. Petersburg.
Being situated in Nevsky Prospekt 153, Phillip Plein now leads worldwide with 15 of its own stores, including three in Russia.
"The opening of the store in St. Petersburg is an important milestone. Russia is one of the strongest markets in the world. St.Petersburg therefore marks a further important step towards the global expansion of the brand. My goal is to immerse in this city’s rich history, and to become better acquainted with the Russian culture,” said Philipp Plein, creator and designer of the brand.
On a total space of 190 sqm the predominant white colour creates a striking contrast to the dark lava stone floors; in addition the chromed metal and ostrich leather creates an exciting exchange between the outdoor and fill areas. An integral element in the store design is the crystallized Swarovski Elements skull; this magnificent piece was implemented by the architectural design and firm based in Milan Aquilialberg.
