PV Asia registers 3,100 visitors and signs partnership with Novomania

Première Vision Shanghai and Denim By PV Asia, the textile business platforms held in Shanghai, in Shanghaimart on 22-23 October 2013, both closed their doors successfully.

The two events registered over 3,100 professionals who came to discover the offer of 70 exhibitors, all selected for their high quality products and creative offer. The show displayed previews for the Fall/Winter 2014/15 season. It was visited by many local high-end designers and brands. Among them there were Lola Zhou/Human Chau, Rachelle Jim, Yan Ming, Oliver Xu/ROOM, Masha Ma and Uma Wang. Young promising designers also visited the show. Among them there were Jenny JI/LA VIE, Wang Yan Nan/TANYA COUTURE, Zhu Lu/ CADIDL and Ou Minjie/ RICOSTRU.

Exhibitors and agents emphasized the quality of the visitors. “The womenswear producers are all here. A good edition,” declared agent Mary Zhang (Shanghai Tissus Import Export CO. LTD). Enrico Gatti from Texapel confirmed his “Full satisfaction, and optimism for the future in the Chinese market!"  Marko Yang, an agent, noted that, “Asian customers are increasingly educated in high-range products.”

The Première Vision shows also seduced Asian professionals with fabric and denim seminars, the Denim and Sparkling Boxes, which highlighted exhibitors’ fabric samples, and the Autumn/Winter 2014/15 Colour Range. Some 350 Chinese, Japanese and South Korean designers and buyers attended the Première Vision seminars, which were specially created by Premiere Vision and presented by Sabine le Chatelier, Associate Fashion Director, Première Vision.

For the first time in Shanghai, Première Vision gathered renowned speakers to share their knowledge about responsible textile creation. The audience was captivated by Luca Galvani - Giorgio Armani Group (Operation Branch Sustainability and Compliance Manager), Hu Yue - Mixmind Art & Design Co (Deputy General Manager of Design & Development), Leo Koo - Prosperity Textile (General Manager) and Enrique Silla - Jeanologia (CEO), who provided their visions of responsible production in fashion. The round table was moderated by Giusy Bettoni, CEO of C.L.A.S.S. (Creativity Lifestyle and Sustainable Synergy), specialist consultants on sustainable innovation for textiles, fashion and design. This was the second of two events, following the first round-table that was organized during Première Vision Paris in September. The events are part of a long-term approach designed to incorporate a series of actions and meetings on the subject.

The upcoming edition of the shows will be held on 5-6 March 2014 in partnership, and co-location with Novomania. Like Première Vision, Novomania aims to be a reference for the premium apparel offer. This synergy will build an out-of-the-box concept, which will give great opportunities to the Asian professionals to meet brands, fabric and denim suppliers and the main actors of the fashion community.
