PREMIUM EXHIBITIONS TO RECOGNIZE STORE WINDOW MERCHANDISINGPremium Exhibitions is launching an award for the best window display in the industry. The award is being supported by the BDS (European Central Union of Visual Marketing/Merchandising) and media partners Sportswear international and WeAr Magazine. “The idea grew out of a necessity. The window is the first contact with the customer and we have the feeling that this subject has been neglected, especially in Germany. The aim is to support emerging creative talent, just as we do with the Premium Young Designers Awards,” said Premium organizer Anita Tillman. Anyone who has enough creativity for the design of a display window, and who perhaps even decorated one, may participate. Applicants may send photos of their work until June 15, 2010 to email@example.com. The best three will subsequently receive a theme and budget and will each have the chance to design a window of the Premium F95 Fashion Store in time for Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin in July this year. From July 5-August 2, votes can be casted on site and online through the websites of Premium, F95 and Facebook. The winner of the showcase Award will receive a commission for Christmas 2010 from the F95 Fashion Store and be featured in the next Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin Magazine.
