Premiere Vision February 2012

PREMIERE VISION TO HOST 32 NEW EXHIBITORSDespite Europe's economic decline, Premiere Vision's exhibitor figures seem to be growing for the second edition of 2012 (to be held September 19-21). With three months still to go, 717 companies are confirmed to take part in the World’s Premiere Fabric Show, topping last fall's total.
All of the Première Vision SA shows are displaying the same upward trend: Expofil with 51 exhibitors, Indigo with 190 and ModAmont with 295. The weavers, who will be presenting their collections for fall/winter 2013/14,now account for 32 new exhibitors from every style universe among their ranks. Of particular note is the return of the Tejidos Royo Spanish denim specialist after a several season absence.
Like all of the companies exhibiting at Première Vision, newcomers were admitted by the deciding Selection Committee. The committee is comprised of international experts and weavers who assess each application according to very stringent criteria including each company’s creativity, the quality of their services and their financial viability. Some 25 companies within Knitwear Solutions, a new area dedicated to creative flat-bed knits, will be added along with the new entrants. This platform will welcome knitters, spinners and a leading manufacturer of knitting machinery. The offer will be rounded out by 18 Indigo design-studios specializing in flat-bed knits.
